As a part of Racial Harmony day, my school decided to select 20 students from my class to attend and participate in a Nursing home for interviewing the elderly. Starting it was quite difficult as most of the elderly were unable or unwilling to speak. However there were also some who are able to speak. There was this old man who kept calling out a name when looking at me. I just got a total shock. He was just tapping on my elbow. I think I might have resemble his daughter or something! the nurse also mentioned that he is not in good state of mental condition.
After interviewing them, i realize that we should really cherish people within us and not only till when they're gone. Because these people surrounding us gives us memories. this memories may be angry, sad, happy, agitated, enthusiastic and more. So nevertheless we should always have a great time ahead! Imagine next time when you're old and realise and think back those memories. It would just be so different feeling.
