AEM @SP Day 4- Dining at Restaurant

The 4th day we went to a restaurant in Singapore poly itself  to enjoy great food and desserts in the VIP room! And nonetheless to learn about hospitality in restaurants!

Paper Napkin of Rose

We got to learn paper napkin folding in the class. For example the bird of paradise, swan and rose. My first successful folded paper napkin was the rose! You can learn it yourself in youtube too at this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGPUh3LzDx0

Before the dining the waitress had actually asked for volunteers in being a waitress, with serving glasses filled with water. I was shaking when trying to walk with it. It is not easy as you had to balance it. Nonetheless with water or wine filled. It really takes practice and i can imagine the waitress hard work everyday carrying glasses and serving it with their arms and hands. 

At the dining we got a drink of either coke or sprite , bread with butter , following by the mushroom soup before heading to the main dish. I did not know what was the dish called but from my taste of eating it is chicken with pasta noodles. However when we were having the main dish halfway, all of us were very full. I guess it is because of the mushroom soup we had in the first place. The main dish was just simply delicious! I love the cheesy taste blending in my mouth~ The chicken was nice too. However i do have some difficulty cutting the chicken too as i was not that used to it. especially holding the small knife.

After the main dish we got the dessert, of strawberry ice cream with waffle. for that moment on the appetite was back.

Tea

After the dishes we had for the last thing was either Tea or Coffee. I chose Tea as i seldom tried Tea and coffee has a lot of caffeine in it. But it turned out my choice was wrong. It doesn't fulfill my taste buds. Maybe it could be the lack of mixing sugar, cream in it. I tried my friend's tea too. It was nice but i didn't like it a lot as compared to Coffee, I was a more of coffee consumer than tea. Well, at least i understand  something about my taste!

After the dining we went back to the lab and learn about the Amadeus software system. Where software that commonly used in travel agencies

I really had enjoyed my day 4 at SP,not only i got to enjoy the food, i also learn about the hospitality and service in the restaurant and some other interesting stuff!. 

And this is the end of Day 4 i would like to share! Now do stay upon on the 5th day of the course, which is the last day!
